Many people can say they race to work, but few can say they race for work. Park Place Motorsports driver, Patrick Lindsey is one of the few who add, race-car diver to the resume. Lindsey's resume is both long and impressive. Alongside a decade long career in racing Lindsey has competed on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange. Lindsey helped grow a financial empire on Wall Street before switching gears to something even faster, aviation. Lindsey finds his adrenaline rush behind the seat of his No. 73 Porsche 911 GT3R and in the cockpit of a Gulfstream IV. Lindsey received his type rating to be a GIV Captain in 2017 shortly after starting his company, Mira Vista Aviation. Mira Vista Aviation is an aircraft management and charter company out of Van Nuys, California and Santa Ana, California.
Lindsey is a California native and first generation racer. Though he comes from a town with quite the racing pedigree, Bakersfield, California. A love of cars and all things automotive was passed down to him from his father and mother Jim and Joan Lindsey. Growing up Lindsey's family instilled in him an appreciation of the American ingenuity and history through cars. His love expanded as he grew older and found himself admiring more than the innovation each car offered, he became obsessed with speed. A natural athlete with a healthy appetite for competition led Lindsey to the backroads of Bakersfield where he would drag race. Lindsey's drive for continued advancement in the sport took him from the backroads to race school, club racing and eventually professional racing series. Currently, Lindsey competes in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.
